Step-by-step guide

Apply a sticker to your bank card in 2 minutes

Follow the steps and it’ll sit firmly for years. No fiddly bits, no risk. Just a clean card and a little patience.

What you need

  • Your sticker (in the envelope)
  • Your bank card or transit card
  • A microfibre cloth
  • Two minutes
01

Clean the card

Wipe the card thoroughly with a microfibre cloth. Grease, dust and lint stop the sticker from bonding properly. Glasses cleaner or rubbing alcohol works well. Skip harsh detergents.

02

Peel the backing

The sticker sits on a clear carrier sheet with a white backing. Peel that backing off slowly. Don’t touch the adhesive side, finger oils stay visible under the vinyl.

03

Line it up

Hold the sticker above your card and line up the corners. It’s cut to exact size, with a cut-out for the chip. Take your time and you’ll get it on the first try.

04

Press it on

Press one corner down first, then smooth outward from the centre. Press firmly along the edges. Air bubbles? Push them to the side with your finger or another card.

05

Done

That’s it. Your card still works exactly the same: chip, contactless, transit, all of it. The ultra-thin vinyl doesn’t block the NFC chip.

Frequently asked questions

Does contactless payment still work?

Yes. The vinyl is thin enough for the NFC chip to transmit straight through. Tap-to-pay, transit cards, contactless in shops, all of it still works.

Does it fit into a card reader?

Yes. Cut to exact size with the same chip cut-out. No risk of jamming or damage.

How long does it stay on?

At least two years, usually much longer. The vinyl is UV-resistant and waterproof. Not happy within 30 days? Money back, no questions.

Can I remove it without leaving glue residue?

Yes. The adhesive lasts years, but peels off cleanly when you want it gone.

Can I take it on holiday?

Sure. The sticker handles heat, cold, rain and seawater. A quick wipe when you get back and it’s good as new.
